Widade and Marlowe

Widade and Marlowe got married on an extremely hot and sunny bank holiday May in central London, at the stunning venue of Eight and a Half, in the City. Newly refurbished, it combines both modern and contemporary elegance, with history and opulence. Our florals therefore looked to enhance rather than compete with the beauty of the space. The ceremony took place outside on the terrace, making the most of the summer sunshine.
She chose a bright, colourful palette focusing predominantly on pinks and corals to contrast with the teal touches that ran throughout the wedding. We filled her arrangements with gorgeous dinner-plate sized peonies, garden roses, sweet-peas, spray roses and pops of lime alchemilla mollis.

For the ceremony, we created two statement urns to frame the couple for their vows. We used completely foam-free mechanics to create the design, using all reusable water sources. We used a variety of seasonal foliage, with plenty of large, coral charm peonies. We created wild aisle meadows to create the illusion of walking through a bed of flowers.

For the reception, we had stunning long tables to decorate, with plenty of teal taper candles with protective glass sleeves, and decadent floral bowls with dainty bud vases.
A spectacular dessert station with a cascade of teal macaroons rounded off the evening.
